This book cloth is a non-woven fabric. It is a material made out of PET & it’s water-proof. It’s usually used for making garment. The deboss pattern on the white background creates an elegant simplicity with a special handfeel on the book cover.

Handmade creations workshop - coptic binding

Coptic stitch-sewing is a traditional non-adhesive bookbinding technique. This workshop focuses on how to use a needle and thread to sew along a book’s spine in order to create a strong, secure and decorative binding struction. This enables the notebook to lie flat on the table, providing a pleasurable writing experience.

A6 handmade Classic sketchbook. Using 130gsm white paper for non-ruled signatures with different colours of head and tail. Selling at MCCM bookshop.
Index Smallbook
I slightly made the case shorter than the signatures to show the beauty of head colours. Cases are made out of linen book cloth. Selling at MCCM bookshop.
3-piece Smallbook
The book spines were made out of different colours of fabric. I didn’t decorate with any book cloths on the cases as the grey board is already showing the aesthetics of this raw material. Signatures are 130gsm non-ruled white paper. Selling at MCCM bookshop.
